<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs</li><li>Hours: 36 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Jun 29, 2026</li><li>Length: 13 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3>American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Great Barrington, MA, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and an active MA RN license in hand.<h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Critical Access Hospital emergency department setting designated as a Massachusetts DPH Primary Stroke Center</li><li>12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week</li><li>Every other weekend required; holiday coverage required as needed</li><li>No on-call responsibilities</li><li>ED Triage and Cardiac Room experience preferred</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Active MA RN license required and must be in hand prior to consideration</li><li>Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS</li><li>Minimum 2 years of current Emergency Room experience required</li><li>Must have own personal vehicle</li><li>Meditech Expanse EMR experience highly preferred</li><li>IV Certification preferred</li><li>ENPC and CEN certifications preferred</li><li>BSN preferred</li><li>One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment required</li><li>ED Skills Checklist current within the past year required</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Functions independently under general guidance, applying critical thinking, time management, communication, delegation, and problem-solving skills in an emergency care setting</li><li>Must maintain emotional stability and composure in high-acuity emergency situations</li><li>Personal scrubs of any color accepted</li><li>Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible</li><li>All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration; no more than 5 days of RTO will be approved, and requests made after an offer is extended may result in a rescinded offer</li><li>First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, but 2 years of current ED experience is required</li></ul>
