My workmates were very friendly and had a sense of teamwork. However, management typically expects a lot from the burnt out RNs and has an algorithm to maximize the productivity of the team (i.e. cancelling travel RN contracts, sending RNs home in the middle of the shift). Anxiety before starting the shift is very common. Also, management usually wants to ask their staff to do overtime work instead of hiring more people. Great for people wanting overtime but not great if somebody calls out leading to severe understaffing. Remember, this is HCA and it’s profit-oriented. If you want to risk losing your license, by all means, apply to this hospital!

Toxic work culture. If you don’t fit in with their cliques then they isolate you. Would not recommend. Poor compensation. Poor leadership. They do not like honest feedback so don’t even try.
