I have been working at the Fresenius Medical Care facility in Wisconsin under the agency Openwork Health. During my interview and hiring process, we agreed that I would work three (3) days per week, ten (10) hours per day, with a contracted weekly compensation of $1,900, including stipend. Based on this agreement, I accepted and committed to the assignment. However, I have only been receiving approximately $1,100 per week because the stipend has been paid for only three days rather than being included as part of the agreed weekly compensation. This amount is significantly less than what was clearly discussed and agreed upon at the start of my contract. When I raised this concern with management to seek clarification and resolution, my contract was subsequently cancelled. I am deeply concerned that the cancellation occurred shortly after I brought forward a legitimate compensation issue.
