The staff are so sweet and helpful. Although work load could be better it’s good to have other staff that helps out.

I had my manager change 3 times during assignment. Literally at the end had no idea who to contact for issues. Communication between units and providers was average to poor depending on service, and attending. Some units I’d get floated to (ED team was amazing!) were much more helpful than others. Which again comes down to management.

Most of the staff are nice, the regular staff seemed frustrated and angry. It could be a tense environment depending on the other staff in your room. I was called off at least one day for the majority of my contract. I was told on numerous occasions, we really don't need you, I'm not sure why you're here.

The work itself is fine, though short staffed.  But if you're looking for a supportive team and coworkers that have your back, keep looking...

There "is no such thing as patient ratios in the Emergency Department". 1 nurse to 9-10 pcu and icu level holds. Unsafe environment with lower pay than the other area hospitals.
