Ambulatory Surgery has an amazing staff and the best manager I have ever worked for. The  main OR not as great as far as coworkers and they do a lot of call.

DO NOT GO THERE! No amount of money is worth it. You will regularly have 7 patients. They justify this by saying their boarders, but they aren't. Five might be but they will send critical pts to you everytime a room empties and you'll have zero help. You will be the only one who ever touches your pts. From putting them on the monitor to line and labs to code brown to passing trays. And in the midst of it, you'll have to comfort a fellow nurse
 crying in the med room.  Or listen to a screaming match between a nurse and charge. Im not kidding. Then you'll be castigated in huddle every morning for all the things you couldn't get done. By a manager that has never been a leader and doesn't understand what leadership is. I made it 5 weeks. Six travelers broke their contracts in that 5 weeks. Do not go there.

They do not care about nurses. The patient ratios on 12 hour days is 9. On nights another 12 hour shift the have 12 pts in all med surg floors. ER nurses have 9 and more pts. ICU nurses have 3 pts a piece even if vented and a trauma pt. Mandatory lunches and dinner not paid, even if you do not have time to eat they will deduct from you. The President Jeff Flacco cares more about what people think of HHC and does not give a crap about nurses, housekeepers and our nurse assistants. HR works from home so you’ll never get a job as they take too long to get some staff in.
