      <h2>Job Description</h2>
      <p>American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with ARRT certification and at least 1 year of specialty experience for a day shift assignment.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Work in a hospital-based mammography department</li><li>Performs routine and advanced mammography procedures including stereotactic biopsies, clip placements, and drainages</li><li>Patient population includes individuals requiring breast imaging for diagnostic or screening purposes</li><li>Utilizes mammography equipment and manages radiation badge (dosimeter) requirements</li><li>EPIC charting system is used</li><li>Day shift, 4x10 hour shifts per week</li><li>Performs mammography procedures independently and produces high-quality diagnostic images</li><li>Follows ALARA guidelines for radiation safety for both patients and staff</li><li>Responsibilities include accurate patient identification, order verification, and patient preparation for exams</li><li>Maintains required records according to JCAHO and Utah State Bureau of Radiation Control</li><li>Must be able to respond to patient questions and provide materials regarding breast self-examinations</li><li>Permanent staff must be separated from any facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment</li><li>Personal dosimeter required for radiation safety</li><li>All required documents, including certifications and identification, must be provided for consideration</li></ul>
          
      <h2>Requirements</h2>
      <ul><li>Current ARRT registration and Rad Tech license in the state of practice required</li><li>Must meet and maintain ARRT Advanced Mammography Certification</li><li>Current BLS for healthcare providers (AHA only; must not expire prior to start)</li><li>Minimum 1 year experience in mammography required</li><li>Must meet and maintain ACR FDA/MQSA requirements for mammography</li><li>High school diploma or GED required</li><li>Experience with EPIC EMR is required</li><li>Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, manual dexterity, pulling/pushing, standing, and walking</li><li>License required if applicable</li></ul>

     Required Certifications &amp; Licensure:
