I believe that this facility is a lot bit unorganized. There are two many shifts so assignments get changed often. I also feel like travelers are dumped on and Kaiser has to many useless rules.

Lack of communication

I will never take another Kaiser contract. The culture there was awful. They bullied travelers, treated them terribly and were the laziest nurses I’ve ever seen. Additionally, all of the equipment was broken and the supplies were sub par. The residents behaved like they were being taught to boss around and belittle nurses. It was a miserable contract.

Never again

No flexibility with the schedule but I don’t think that is the worst part. I felt like my license was in danger at this hospital. It is resident ran and they do NOT know what they’re doing. The way they manage patients is dangerous and leads to unnecessary bad outcomes. I had more babies put on cooling in the 6 months I worked there than I’ve had or witnessed in the entirety of my 6 year labor experience. This includes contracts with higher acuity, more patients, and more fast paced. I left this contract early. And the manager is AWFUL. She is truly one of the meanest women I have ever met and the way she treats her staff is sad to witness. Her attitude is nasty and I witnessed her verbally cuss out one of the assistant managers on the unit. The best part of the contract was the pay and the staff nurses.
