It’s an incredible place to gain experience with complex cases due to the patient population Kern serves. Blood bank experience is great. Loved to learn but hated carrying the weight of incompetent/lazy staff. Pay is the lowest in kern county. It does not provide any incentive to want to work at a trauma hospital therefore new and competent talent is far from reach.
