 American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a night shift LTAC position requiring vent/trach and central line experience in a long-term acute care setting.
 
 <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
 <ul><li>Work in a long-term acute care (LTAC) hospital on a chronic care unit</li><li>Night shift schedule from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am</li><li>Patient population includes chronic and medically complex cases</li><li>Ventilator and tracheostomy care required</li><li>Experience with central lines preferred</li><li>May require wound care management</li><li>Responsible for shift accountability in patient care utilizing the nursing process and critical thinking</li><li>Delegates and supervises assigned personnel in delivering patient care</li><li>Staff must clock in and out of the electronic timekeeping system</li><li>Local candidates within a 50-mile radius will be paid at a reduced rate</li><li>Candidates cannot be currently employed as permanent staff at any location during assignment</li><li>Full US SSN and date of birth required for consideration</li><li>RCIS and RQI certifications are not accepted</li><li>No Canadian SINs accepted</li></ul>
 
 <h2>Requirements</h2>
 <ul><li>Active OH or compact RN license required</li><li>Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association required</li><li>Minimum of 2 years recent LTAC or relevant specialty experience required</li><li>Must have vent/trach care experience and knowledge of central line management</li><li>Certifications must not expire within 30 days of assignment start</li><li>No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months</li></ul>
