<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs</li><li>Hours: 36 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Oct 25, 2026</li><li>Length: 13 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is hiring a Polysomnographic Technologist for a night shift sleep lab role requiring BLS, Epic experience, and RPGST, RST, or SDS certification.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Sleep lab setting</li><li>Night shift, 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM</li><li>3x12 hour shifts per week, 36 hours weekly</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Minimum of 1 year experience in a sleep medicine setting</li><li>Current BLS certification</li><li>One of the following certifications required: RPGST, RST, or SDS</li><li>ACLS preferred</li><li>Epic EMR experience required</li><li>License required if applicable</li><li>Strong independent judgment and ability to work with minimal supervision</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Perform routine and complex polysomnographic recordings and CPAP/BiPAP titrations</li><li>Educate patients on sleep studies, sleep apnea, and CPAP therapy prior to testing</li><li>Properly connect and disconnect patients from electrodes and monitoring equipment</li><li>Monitor patients throughout sleep studies and respond according to department policy</li><li>Administer CPAP/BiPAP therapy per department protocol</li><li>Adhere to department and hospital-wide policies and procedures</li><li>Demonstrate willingness to assist team members and maintain quality patient care</li></ul>
