On 5 South for 3 months. RN's were great with 6/7 CNA's
being real easy to work with- very responsive to delegation. I would have extended, but was presented the
opportunity for a day shift at DSMC, so I took it. The Charge RNs are knoweldegable and helpful in their own ways. Each has a distinct personaltiy - One is very sweet and helpful, two others are very direct and to the point and gives you an opportunity to figure it out yourself before helping, which I can respect. Nurse Manager is now overseeing a few of the floors and she is always ready to see things from your side and to coach you on stuff that can be improved. Good manager - Not overbearing or micromanaging.
