ICU float pool should be listed as hospital wide float pool. They use the ICU float pool to staff the hospital and will not hesitate to put you on a medical surgical floor. They also do not pay any attention to who they place where based on skill set. Some units you are on an island working on your own. I would consider taking a unit based contract but no thanks to any float pool.
