Job Details:
• Work Monday through Friday shifts from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM 
• On-call responsibilities required throughout the week and weekend coverage 
• Must have 2 years recent OR RN experience 
• Tennessee RN or multi-state RN license required 
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS (must be through American Heart Association) 
• Must have knowledge of general surgery, orthopedic including total joints, OB, GYN, and endoscopy procedures 
• OR also covers C-sections 
• Circulators perform recovery of general surgery patients with ETT as needed before returning to floor or Same Day Surgery 
• No robotic surgery involved 
• Perform plan of care interventions including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments 
• Document patient care and monitor patient conditions 
• Communicate with care team, physicians, patients, and families 
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation 
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care including transfers, discharge, and referrals 
• Evaluate learning needs and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, and condition 
• Advocate for physical and emotional well-being of patients
