            <ul><li>Position based in a hospital nuclear medicine department</li><li>Adult patient population</li><li>Procedures performed include gastric emptying studies, HIDA scan, MUGA scan, PET scan, 3-phase bone scan, limited and whole body imaging, and liver scan for hemangioma</li><li>Uses Siemens nuclear medicine equipment</li><li>Day shifts, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM</li><li>Weekend and daily call required after 5:00 PM</li><li>First-time travelers are accepted</li><li>Care for adult patients in a collaborative hospital setting</li><li>Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted</li></ul>

      <p>American Traveler is hiring a RN for a Cath Lab Holding position requiring CA RN license, PALS certification, and at least one year of cardiac recovery experience.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Position is in the Cath Lab Holding unit in a hospital setting</li><li>Care involves pre- and post-procedure cardiac and vascular patients, including those with pacemakers, TAVR, Watchman, Mitral Clip, Tri Clip, TEVAR, EVAR, and pediatric cardiac interventions</li><li>Patient population includes pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics</li><li>Work schedule is 3x12-hour day shifts with variable start times (6:00-18:30, 8:00-20:30, 9:00-21:30)</li><li>Weekend requirement is 1 weekend of Saturday and Sunday (7am-7pm)</li><li>Utilizes Omnicell for medication management and EPIC for documentation</li><li>Communication system used is SBAR</li><li>Responsibilities include recovery and monitoring of cardiac and vascular procedure patients, including advanced interventions and device placements</li><li>Must follow isolation precautions and use appropriate PPE as needed</li><li>Scrubs are provided by the facility</li><li>Must adhere to all hospital protocols including use of rapid response and code teams</li><li>Candidates living within 50 miles are considered locals and offered local pay rates</li></ul>

      <ul><li>Active CA RN license required</li><li>Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification</li><li>Minimum of 1 year of recent cardiac recovery or cath lab nursing experience</li><li>Proficient skills in telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, code response, and care of devices such as pacemakers</li><li>Experience with pre- and post-cardiac cath care, sheath removal, arterial lines, TR band, TAVR, blood product administration, and sedation monitoring</li><li>Competence in central and peripheral line management, phlebotomy, PICC lines, IV initiation and maintenance</li><li>Experience with procedural sedation, airway management, and oxygen therapy</li><li>Familiarity with EPIC EMR required</li></ul>
