You will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills and our cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing. A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:- Plans, coordinates and implements patient care specific to the age of the patient population served in the Medical Surgical Orthopedics unit.- Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.- Documents patient care and monitors patient condition, communicating with care team, physician, patient, and family.- Assists patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.- Coordinates patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and support needs.- Provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and circumstances.- Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.- Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.- Maintains regular and reliable attendance.- Performs other duties as assigned.Why join usWe believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
