<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Days, 4x10hrs</li><li>Hours: 40 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Jul 27, 2026</li><li>Length: 13 weeks</li><li>Openings: 2</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract, requiring at least 2 years of experience and a broad range of surgical skills including general, gynecological, and orthopedic procedures.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Work setting is a hospital Operating Room serving a wide patient population including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics</li><li>Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM</li><li>On-call requirements will be discussed during the interview process</li><li>13-week contract</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Active AZ or Compact RN license required</li><li>Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS</li><li>Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required</li><li>Level I Trauma experience required</li><li>Required general surgery skills: appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, inguinal/umbilical hernia repair, laparoscopic-assisted procedures, partial/total thyroidectomy, and Whipple procedure</li><li>Required gynecological surgery skills: abdominal/vaginal hysterectomy, anterior/posterior repair, bilateral tubal ligation, dilation &amp; curettage, and laparoscopic-assisted gynecological procedures</li><li>Required orthopedic skills: arthroscopy, closed/open reduction of fractures, laminectomy/discectomy, and total joint replacement</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position</li><li>Preferred experience includes neurology, burns, scrub/hand/burn specialties, and prior charge nurse experience</li><li>First-time travelers are welcome to apply</li></ul>
