 Outpatient rehab in a rural setting that sees a wide variety of clients from ortho to neuro in our rehab clinic setting housed in an outpatient wellness gym for ease of transfer upon discharge. Our full-time staff consists of 5 PTs, 5 PTAs, 1 SLP, and 1 OT/1 COTA. We have an aide and 2 front desk staff. We do aquatic therapy in our gym at select times (certain therapists) as well as specialized therapy in women's health including pelvic therapy and incontinence, Parkinson’s rehab, vestibular rehab, chronic pain therapy, dry needling, sports rehab, blood flow restriction therapy, and other therapy with equipment and tools funded by our non-profit hospital’s grant system. Occasional in-patient work and weekends required. SC license and AHA BLS required.

Job Details:
• Work Monday through Friday with shifts split between start of 7:00 AM and end of 7:00 PM 
• No on-call responsibilities required 
• Outpatient only setting 
• Couple of years' experience working on treatment machines treating patients required 
• Administer therapeutic doses of ionizing radiation using advanced level linear accelerators, Tomotherapy treatment units, or proton therapy units 
• Record and verify treatment software according to radiation oncologist prescriptions and instructions 
• Simulate patients in accordance with prescription requirements 
• Position patients for treatment with accuracy according to prescription 
• Follow principles of radiation protection for patient, self and others 
• Utilize appropriate health and safety equipment to protect both patient and staff 
• Educate, prepare and reassure patients and their families by answering questions and providing physical assistance 
• Reinforce physicians' advice regarding treatment reactions and post-treatment care 
• Contribute to the training of radiation therapy students 
• Maintain professional image and exhibit excellent customer relations 
• Demonstrate continued professional growth through goal setting and participating in educational offerings 
• Adhere to standard work procedures and service excellence standards
