Cardiac Catheterization Technologist

<h2>Job Description</h2>
<p>We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Catheterization Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Coronary Cath Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.</p>

<h2>Location</h2>
<p>Gulfport, MS</p>

<h2>Contract Details</h2>
<ul>
    <li>Start Date: As soon as possible, within two weeks of accepting the offer.</li>
    <li>Contract Length: 13 weeks, pending approval.</li>
    <li>Scheduled Hours: 10-hour shifts, 4 days a week, with variability in daily hours based on case completion, ranging from 8 to 11 hours.</li>
</ul>

<h2>Responsibilities</h2>
<ul>
    <li>Perform cardiac catheterization procedures, including coronary interventions.</li>
    <li>Assist in electrophysiology (EP) procedures and ablations.</li>
    <li>Participate in neuro interventional radiology (IR) cases as needed.</li>
    <li>Support structural heart cases such as TAVR and Watchman.</li>
    <li>Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.</li>
</ul>

<h2>Experience Requirements</h2>
<ul>
    <li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in a high-volume Cardiac Cath Lab.</li>
    <li>Strong background in both coronary and EP procedures.</li>
    <li>Experience in neuro IR is preferred but not mandatory.</li>
</ul>

<h2>License/Certification Requirements</h2>
<ul>
    <li>RCIS certification is required.</li>
</ul>

<h2>Additional Requirements</h2>
<ul>
    <li>Floating between Gulfport and Biloxi locations may be required.</li>
    <li>Availability for weekend shifts every third weekend.</li>
    <li>On-call duty approximately 8-9 days per month.</li>
    <li>Must be available for one major holiday and one minor holiday during the contract period.</li>
</ul>

<p>Candidates are required to complete fingerprinting through the Mississippi SAFER system prior to starting the assignment. This must be completed within 48 hours of accepting the offer to avoid delays in the start date.</p>

<p>This position involves providing high-quality care in a busy cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology lab. The professional will perform various procedures, including coronary ablation and structural heart interventions, while collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals.</p>

<h2>Schedule Details</h2>
<ul>
    <li>10-hour days, 4 days a week</li>
    <li>Hours may vary; the expectation is to stay until cases are completed, resulting in some days being 8 to 11 hours long</li>
</ul>

<h2>Experience Requirements</h2>
<ul>
    <li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in a high-volume cardiac catheterization lab</li>
    <li>Strong skills in both Coronary Cath Lab and Electrophysiology (EP)</li>

    <li>Experience in Neuro IR procedures is preferred</li>
    <li>Familiarity with structural heart procedures such as TAVR and Watchman is a plus</li>
</ul>

<h2>Orientation and Credentialing</h2>
<ul>
    <li>Orientation will be held at Gulfport</li>
    <li>Credentials are due the Monday prior to the start date</li>
</ul>
