Charting is horrible, no one helps each other, management cares only about checking boxes not outcomes of patients. Drs don’t care, I saw multiple times the drs could have prevented rapids and they just didn’t order lab or tests. One patient had to go on comfort care because the dr didn’t recheck the lactic for a couple days after it was initially in the 7s. By the time they recheck they decided they would have to intubate or place on comfort care. Unsafe discharges, no CNAs on the floor and nurse managers are coming into your rooms to yell at you to answer the call light of another pt while you are actively giving meds. They close ICU to save money and give you ICU pts on tele floors. I saw Dr. telling new nurses not to call a rapid response for a pt who was clearly having septic shock. If you want to keep your license best to never go here. If your love one is sick and you want them to not get better Mercy is your place.
