Ratios on Tele more often 5-6 pts to nurse. Lots of CHF patients. I feel like management does really fight for safe patient assignments and works to move sick patients off floor if needed

Not only was the recruiter not be forthcoming with the unit I'd be working on, the pay was low balled. As for Methodist Dallas, the assignment practices towards travel nurses was always in flavor of their staff.  Contract staff had the worst assignments. They'd skip the next available staff member to make sure the worst was given to us first. I would never go back there and certainly never use the recruiter that I was assigned.
