This is a struggling facility
I am a former employee who traveled back to Methodist for a contract. The facility is struggling, staffing is inadequate on many days. The work environment is stressed, and staff feels under appreciated. Management doesn’t seems interested in motivating or incentivizing their employees. But the people are wonderful, kind and helpful. The patient population face multiple barriers to healthcare and lack access to medical care and services. Working there is overwhelming but you definitely feel as though you make a difference in the lives of your patients.
