There is an extremely toxic culture here. No support from PCNA’s-not held to account by management. Metro is transitioning to LPN’s to fill RN roles at a very rapid pace. their new model is to pair an RN with an LPN to take a patient load of 8 plus patients in Med/Surg and other areas of acute in patient care. LPN’s coming in have extremely varying levels of competence.  Along with RN’s having to be reasource to travel staff, management also expects the RN’s on the floor to skill up or train up the LPN’s to a level that they can care for patients. It is dangerous, providing low quality care to an already underserved patient population.

<h2>Shift Information</h2>
<p>Evenings - 32 hours per week, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, with every other weekend and holiday required.</p>

<h2>Minimum Experience</h2>
<p>1 year of relevant experience is required.</p>

<h2>Certifications and Requirements</h2>
<ul>
    <li>Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association</li>
    <li>Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials</li>
    <li>Ohio Respiratory Care license</li>

<h2>Job Description</h2>
<p>The Registered Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for delivering respiratory therapy services as prescribed by a provider order. This position requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.</p>

<h2>Mandatory Qualifications</h2>
<ul>
    <li>Must hold an RRT certification (CRT certification is not acceptable).</li>
    <li>Active Ohio respiratory care license is required.</li>
    <li>Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association only.</li>
</ul>

<h2>Work Environment and Physical Requirements</h2>
<p>This role may require intermittent sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and ambulation throughout the day. Candidates should be able to sit or stand for extended periods. The position also requires the ability to:</p>

    <li>See within the normal visual range, with or without correction.</li>
    <li>Hear within the normal audio range, with or without correction.</li>
    <li>Demonstrate finger dexterity for operating office equipment.</li>
    <li>Lifting up to 25 pounds on occasion.</li>

</ul>
