Great place overall, felt supported, had breaks. However it was incredibly busy. Like insane out of this world not enough providers busy.

Management of course can be unfair and biased and makes it hard to want to stay . But love my coworkers and I love the self scheduling .

Busy place. But very disorganized.  Supplies run low and are located in various places. This make you run all over the place.

When I signed up, I was told that I was going to work a weekend every now and again and it ended up being every other weekend. Then you get two random days off so you don’t actually have a weekend off and then you do get a weekend off every other weekend it’s not what I was told I would be working.then to top it off, you can be put on call on your day off.

The physician/nurse relationship culture is terrible.  It’s 2023, it is a partnership.  Charge nurses would treat travelers like garbage.  High turnover of nurses.  High acuity, support staff overwhelmed.  Would not return.

Do not take an OR nurse contract here.  You are forced to do 13 hour shifts with one 30 minute break. They do 120+ surgeries a day. There are 25 regular OR’s.  They will make you scrub. You don’t get relieved on time ever.  & their manager is a nightmare. Probably why half the staff are travelers.  Some travelers have been there for 5 years and they are favored.  It’s a gross environment
