I gave them a 2 because their scheduler is inflexible and rude. To travelers and core staff. Pretty much doesn’t want to approve anything and you need to CC the manager to even receive a professional response vs a rude and controlling tone. I liked everyone else though!

Offers of bonus pay will be made for you to pick up (specifically on the ed holds area) overtime because of severe understaffing and then denied to you because you are a traveler even though you spoke with several people to verify the offer. 

Most support staff is EXCELLENT.  They are prosaic and helpful, and I was extremely grateful for them. The ed holds area is almost exclusively travel nurses, and that makes it very unique.  A nice comradery developed amongst travelers, and that unit worked more smoothly and efficiently than you would anticipate.  

They hold psych patients for months at a time; they do have peds patients from time to time; and they will float med/surg nurses down to the ed where they are often way out of their depths with the pace and acuity. 

They are/ trying to phase out travelers, and the workload and cost of living are not well reflected in these current offers of pay.
