Ultrasound Technologist / Medical SonographerCompensation: $96,000–$121,000 Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 Schedule: 4x10s or 3x12s Specialty: Breast &amp; General Ultrasound Location: Manhattan &amp; Long Island City <h3>Position Overview</h3>We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist / Medical Sonographer to join a state-of-the-art imaging team providing high-quality, patient-centered care. This is a radiation-free imaging role with opportunities to work in breast and general ultrasound. <h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations with a focus on patient safety, comfort, and quality.</li><li>Perform whole-breast ultrasound, including imaging for patients with dense breast tissue and women at higher risk for breast cancer.</li><li>Perform automated whole-breast ultrasound examinations.</li><li>Operate advanced ultrasound equipment, including the newest GE LOGIQ 10.</li><li>Complete approximately 9–15 patients per day, depending on specialty and shift length.</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation and follow established imaging protocols.</li><li>Float between locations in Lower Manhattan, Midtown, and Long Island City as needed.</li></ul><h3>Schedule</h3><ul><li>Breast Ultrasound: 3x12-hour shifts, typically 7:30 AM–8:00 PM</li><li>General Ultrasound: 4x10-hour shifts, typically 9:00 AM–6:00 PM or 10:00 AM–8:00 PM, or 3x12-hour shifts, typically 7:30 AM–8:00 PM</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Minimum 2 year of ultrasound experience</li><li>Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree</li><li>ARDMS certification required — RDMS, RDCS, RVT, or RMSKS accepted</li><li>BLS certification required</li><li>SPI certification required</li><li>COVID vaccination required; no exemption</li><li>Must be willing to float between assigned locations</li><li>Pediatric experience is a plus, but not required</li></ul><h3>Locations</h3><ul><li>425 E. 61st Street, Manhattan</li><li>53 Beekman Street, Manhattan</li><li>28-25 Jackson Avenue, Long Island City</li></ul><h3>Why Join?</h3><ul><li>Competitive salary of $96K–$121K</li><li>$10,000 sign-on bonus</li><li>State-of-the-art facility and updated imaging equipment</li><li>Tuition reimbursement of up to $5,000 tax-free per academic year for full-time employees</li><li>Employer-sponsored childcare through Bright Horizons</li><li>Children’s Tuition Plan</li><li>Pension after 5 years</li><li>Strong focus on patient care and patient experience</li><li>Supportive, family-oriented team environment</li><li>Team lunches, outings, and wellness initiatives</li><li>Uniform/scrub purchasing program</li><li>Opportunities for internal advancement and cross-training</li><li>Promote-from-within culture with opportunities to expand into additional imaging modalities</li></ul>
