2 nurses recommend working here
Pros
Nursing staff and management very friendly. Easy assignments. Able to pick schedule mostly. Overall enjoyed my working experience here
Cons
Typical of a small hospital, not a ton of experienced providers in higher acuity patients. Out of date equipment. Nightshift- no doctor present in the ICU and covered by a hospitalist that’s at home. Would have to call a doc overnight if there’s concerns and would not be well received. As ICU nurse, had to go to ER to help with codes because they don’t have enough staff there for this. It’s a very small hospital. ER physician barely ran code so huge need for experienced nurse there.

Pros
The nurses and interdisciplinary teams are great and I believe they have a great culture.
Cons
The hospital is understaffed and the medical equipment such as the call light system and vitals machines are very outdated. At times I found it hard to address my patients issues in a reasonable amount of time because you have no way of knowing they are calling if you are not at the nursing station to here the beep.
