      <h2>Job Description</h2>
      <p>American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT-MR certification for a 13-week travel assignment with day shifts in an acute care hospital setting.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>3x12-hour day shifts, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, scheduled Thursday, Friday, and Saturday</li><li>13-week travel contract</li><li>No on-call requirements</li><li>Holiday coverage is required</li><li>Works alongside regular staff in the MRI department</li><li>May float within the hospital as needed</li><li>Meditech EMR (preferred)</li><li>Performs a broad range of MRI procedures including brain, spine, musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, abdomen/pelvis, breast, and chest imaging</li><li>Specialized imaging procedures include MRA, MRV, MRCP, perfusion, spectroscopy, diffusion imaging, gradient echo, spin echo, multiplanar reconstruction, and image post-processing</li><li>GE MRI equipment used</li><li>Proficient in preparation and/or administration of contrast media, starting peripheral IVs, radiation safety, and isolation precautions/PPE</li><li>Skilled in special imaging procedures including peripheral MRA, spectroscopy, surface coils, T-1 and T-2 weighted images, and spinal trauma imaging</li><li>First-time travelers are not eligible for this position</li><li>Local candidates are accepted at the same rate; no mileage restriction applies</li><li>Return staff must have been away for at least 6 months and must be in good standing</li><li>RTO requests must be submitted at the time of consideration</li><li>Candidates with a pending license will be considered with documentation showing the license is in progress</li></ul>
          
      <h2>Requirements</h2>
      <ul><li>Minimum of 1 year of MRI technologist experience required</li><li>ARRT-MR certification required</li><li>BLS required</li><li>ARRT (R) required</li><li>Experience on GE MRI systems required; experience with GE MRI software version 28 or higher preferred</li><li>Prior travel experience required</li><li>License required if applicable</li><li>Two professional references completed within the last two years, provided by a supervisor</li><li>SSN and DOB required for consideration</li><li>Driver's license required for consideration</li><li>COVID vaccination card required; medical or religious exemption documentation accepted</li><li>Candidates with background hits will be considered</li></ul>
