No support from management, unsafe practice culture and management tells you that state board rules are “only suggestions and not hospital policy.” They do not adhere to your signed contract-Shift hours and call requirements change consistently with no regard. 2 staff and 3 travelers quit on the spot within the same week due to unsafe working environments. The only positive is that it is a new facility.

Worst hospital setting I ever stepped foot in. A unit of 48 beds and you’re lucky to have 2 CNAs on the floor. High acuity patients on med surg/tele floors and required to take 6 patients. Facility didn’t care about your contract showing you should only have 5 patients. 
Staff was mandated to clock out at the end of shift 0730 even though they were staying over to chart, which happened on a daily basis. Staff was never able to have a lunch break but would not be compensated for that 30 minutes of time worked.
