<p><strong>Job Title:</strong> Registered Dietician<br /><strong>Location:</strong> New York, NY 10035</p><p><strong>Assignment Length:</strong> 14 Weeks<br /><strong>Start Date:</strong> 06/01/2026<br /> </p><p><strong>Schedule:</strong></p><ul><li>35 Hours/Week</li><li>7 Hours/Day</li></ul><h3>Job Description:</h3><p>Seeking an experienced Registered Dietician to provide nutrition assessment, patient education, and dietary management services. The Dietician will monitor food/drug interactions, collaborate with physicians regarding diet modifications, and provide follow-up nutrition care based on patient needs.</p><p> </p><h3>Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>Screen and assess patients’ nutritional needs and status</li><li>Provide nutrition education and document patient understanding</li><li>Review food/drug interactions and record findings</li><li>Interview patients and families regarding dietary habits and preferences</li><li>Interpret laboratory, physical, and social data relevant to nutrition care</li><li>Modify patient menus as needed</li><li>Collaborate with physicians regarding appropriate dietary plans</li></ul><h3>Requirements:</h3><ul><li>Minimum 1 year of Dietician experience required</li><li>Graduate from an accredited college/university with a degree in Dietetics or Foods and Nutrition</li><li>For Acute locations: Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) required</li><li>For Post-Acute locations: NYSED “Dietitian-Nutritionist” Certification required at time of hire</li></ul>
