<p>• Work day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with flexibility required for earlier or later procedures<br />
• On-call responsibilities divided equally among team members, typically two nights per week and every other weekend<br />
• Weekend on-call coverage from close of business Friday to department opening Monday morning<br />
• Must arrive within 30 minutes when called in<br />
• Float between Interventional Radiology and Cardiac Cath Lab as needed<br />
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations<br />
• Daily census of approximately 5 patients with 5 visits per day<br />
• Patient ratio of 2:1 during day shifts<br />
• 24 hours of orientation provided<br />
• One pre-approved time off request allowed per contract<br />
• 7 weekend shifts required per contract<br />
• Must have 2 years of experience in specialty<br />
• Travel experience required - first-time travelers not accepted<br />

      <p>American Traveler is hiring an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist with ARRT, BLS, ACLS, and LA State license for a day shift contract in a hospital-based IR/Cardiac Cath Lab.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Work in a hospital-based interventional radiology unit that collaborates closely with the cardiac cath lab</li><li>Standard day shift schedule is 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with flexibility required for procedures outside these hours</li><li>Call is divided equally among the team, typically covering two nights per week and every other weekend, including holidays</li><li>On-call expectation includes being able to arrive at the department within 30 minutes of notification</li><li>May be required to float between IR and Cardiac Cath Lab as needed</li><li>Responsibilities may include emergency staffing and storm-related duties during hurricane season, with the expectation to remain on-site or serve as part of a relief team as assigned</li><li>Must complete training modules during a facility-led orientation</li><li>Candidates who previously worked as permanent staff or in-house contractors must be separated from the health system for at least one year before returning as a traveler</li><li>Team-oriented environment with shared call responsibilities</li><li>RTO (requested time off) must be disclosed and discussed during the interview</li></ul>
