Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Standard shift hours: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with flexibility required for earlier or later procedures
• On-call responsibilities divided equally among team members, typically two nights per week and every other weekend
• Weekend call coverage from close of business Friday to department opening Monday morning
• Must respond to facility within 30 minutes when called
• Float between Interventional Radiology and Cardiac Cath Lab as needed
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Daily census of approximately 5 patients with 5 visits per day
• Patient ratio of 2:1 during day shifts
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• 7 weekend shifts required per contract
• One pre-approved time off request allowed
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT, and Louisiana State License
• Minimum 2 years of experience required in specialty
• Travel experience required - facility does not accept first-time travelers
• Must live over 65 miles from facility (local travelers not accepted)
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Strict no call-in policy
• May be assigned to Emergency Team during emergency events with expectation to stay until event passes
