<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs</li><li>Hours: 36 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Aug 17, 2026</li><li>Length: 13 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring trauma experience, a compact or OK RN license, and prior travel assignment experience.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Work in the ICU department of a hospital setting</li><li>Care for a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex</li><li>Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 36 hours weekly</li><li>Trauma and travel experience required</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)</li><li>Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), both issued by the American Heart Association</li><li>Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required</li><li>Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred</li><li>Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients and document nursing interventions and treatments</li><li>Assist physicians with examinations, minor diagnostic procedures, and treatments</li><li>Administer medications and initiate, regulate, and monitor IV infusions and blood products</li><li>Communicate care plans with patients and families, including discharge instructions</li><li>Delegate tasks to support staff as needed</li><li>Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered</li><li>Compliance documentation (background checks, drug screens, medical requirements) must begin immediately upon offer due to strict facility deadlines</li><li>Travelers must be booked at least 4 weeks from time of offer</li><li>Returning travelers may extend a contract one time up to a total of 26 weeks, after which a 6-month separation is required before reapplying</li></ul>
