Administration does not train bedside staff to a shameful degree. Staff are left to fend for themselves, sometimes two nurses and no techs on units with 25 acute patients. They also run IVs and PICC lines right on their BH units- blood transfusions done by untrained, not signed off staff trying to figure it out on their phones. Assaults are frequent and severe. Psych unit mgr is SW Scheduler is not flexible and does not consider Nurse’s personal life, plans, or situation . Plan to do chart audits and some SW jobs.
