I started with many other travelers. Beautiful hospital, work load isn't too heavy. Fluent Spanish will help you but they have lots of tablets to interpret. You will triage, labor, circulate, and recover. Occasionally float to postpartum, it's nice but I prefer their labor unit. I was welcomed and didn't feel any cattiness on the night shift. They just combined two hospital staffs into one and closed the labor unit at the smaller hospitals, so there are now doctors managing from home as well as the excellent hospitalists on-site.  A great place to work and Escondido is a cute suburb, beaches and entertainment are all a quick drive away.
