<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Days, 5x8hrs</li><li>Hours: 40 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Oct 19, 2026</li><li>Length: 13 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience to join a critical access hospital's therapy team treating patients across the lifespan.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Critical access hospital with Level IV Trauma designation, 46 acute care beds and 22 long-term care beds</li><li>Therapy department covers outpatient, inpatient, and SNF patients, including wound care, lymphedema, pelvic floor, and pediatric specialties</li><li>Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM</li><li>No weekend or on-call requirements</li><li>Clinician may float within scope to cover Outpatient, Acute Care, and SNF units</li><li>Uses Epic for charting</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required</li><li>BLS certification required</li><li>Alaska state license required (if applicable)</li><li>Compact license must be active and in hand at time of consideration</li><li>Epic EMR experience required</li><li>Pediatric and adolescent experience preferred</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>First-time travelers accepted</li><li>Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility for consideration</li><li>Local candidates may be accepted at a lower bill rate</li><li>Returning former Providence staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must live outside a 50-mile radius</li><li>Travelers may be required to float between sister facilities within the state</li><li>Must be willing to work 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)</li><li>RTO requests must be submitted upfront during the application process</li><li>Two supervisory references required, covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years</li><li>Scrub attire is flexible, with business casual also accepted</li><li>Facility provides housing and a rental vehicle for the assignment duration</li></ul>
