Working at Providence St. Vincent’s has been my best experience yet since I’ve been a nurse. My team “Med A” was amazing. Everyone was always so helpful and willing to teach you when needed. I received the best training at Providence St. Vincent’s and was treated like family. They really make sure that their nurses are taken care of and are always looking for their well being. I definitely would go back and work there again in a heartbeat ❤️.

As an ICU nurse there was a lot of floating to step down and to med-surg to be a sitter or PCA. Ratios and staffing were amazing when I was staffed in the ICUs. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

Unfortunately I received unfair treatment from this facility in addition to pay being withheld and my hours purposely cut. I was very excited to work for this facility but the work culture and atmosphere were subpar and it was very disheartening being treated unfairly because of my outside appearance

      <p>American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist with at least 2 years of experience for weekend night shifts at a teaching hospital.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Short-term acute care hospital setting with 536 staff beds</li><li>Night shifts, working 3x12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM</li><li>Weekend shifts required on Saturday</li><li>No floating between units required for this position</li><li>No on-call required</li><li>Patient ratio is 1:1</li><li>Epic EMR is used and experience with Epic is required</li><li>Returning employees must have a separation of at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and may not live within 50 miles of the facility</li><li>All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state if required by the system</li><li>Minimal to no requested time off will be approved; time off requests must be discussed in advance</li><li>Any color scrubs may be worn unless assigned to the OR or Cath Lab, where scrubs are provided</li><li>No fee required for parking</li><li>COVID and flu vaccination documentation required</li></ul>
