<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs</li><li>Hours: 36 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Nov 9, 2026</li><li>Length: 13 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift position requiring an active Oregon RN license and prior travel nursing experience.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Critical access hospital setting with 23 staffed beds on the MS/Tele unit</li><li>Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM-7:00 AM)</li><li>Required to work 4 weekend shifts per month</li><li>Patient ratio of 1:4</li><li>May float to other units based on skill set and facility needs, including sister facilities in the region</li><li>No on-call requirements</li><li>Uses Epic EMR</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Active Oregon RN license (Compact license must be in hand at time of submission)</li><li>Current BLS and ACLS certifications required</li><li>Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience required</li><li>Prior travel nursing experience required</li><li>Epic EMR experience required</li><li>Experience with IV therapy, central/PICC line care, blood product administration, chest tubes, cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management</li><li>Experience with wound care/wound vac and isolation precautions/PPE</li><li>Must have a personal vehicle for this assignment</li><li>Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required</li><li>Full SSN and DOB required for consideration</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Provide direct patient care to a Med/Surg Tele population including cardiovascular, post-MI, orthopedic (total joint replacement), and surgical drain patients</li><li>Scrubs may be any color, except OR/L&amp;D where scrubs are provided</li><li>No fee for parking</li><li>Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)</li><li>All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront; requests after submission may not be accommodated</li><li>Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate</li><li>Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel rate</li><li>Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must be outside a 50-mile radius</li><li>Candidates must disclose any prior work history at Providence facilities, including dates and location</li></ul>
