The thing I enjoy most about this hospital is the culture and the people I work with. I work nights and everyone I work with gets along really well as long as there’s adequate communication. The pay is relatively competitive for the area and you are adequately supplied for the job MOST of the time. There’s obviously lapses or hiccups every once in awhile but not to the point where it is a constant problem. I would recommend working here without hesitation

S/he is able to coordinate care not only for individual patients, but also to lead the care delivery of multiple patients in the nursing care area in accordance with policies and procedures of the Hospital. S/he collaborates with other professional disciplines/unit leaders to ensure safe and effective patient care delivery. S/he is responsible for assigning nursing personnel to specific patients for whom they will care for based upon their skill, experience and temperament, and the acuity of the patients. This position serves as resource of information and coordinates all activities within the department. In addition, the Care Manager helps drive change by identifying areas where performance improvement is needed (e.g., day to day workflow, education, process improvements, patient satisfaction) . * All Flexible Schedule II employees will work two (2) shifts in a pay period.
