I really liked working at Renown. The doctors were all great, appreciative and respectful. Staff all took pride in their work. I was in the Outpatient/Same day side (Roseview), so it was small with only like 7 ORs. Downside, as a traveler, you get sent home alot. I could barely get my 40hrs each week. Still would return for another assignment.

I worked at Renown for clinical opportunities as they have the highest acuity patients in the area, but I was very disappointed by the toxic culture. If management likes you, it's a great place to work, but if you dont click with the clique, they will find reasons to get rid of you without any remorse or possible discourse. This happened to a multitude of great nurses I know, and so I left (thank god) and will never look back.

            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Position is in a cardiac catheterization lab setting</li><li>Rotating 4x10 hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with call required</li><li>13-week contract assignment</li><li>EMR is Epic; training provided during orientation or proficiency testing available</li><li>Must participate in call coverage as scheduled</li><li>A minimum of 2 major holidays must be worked during the assignment</li><li>No local candidates; must reside at least 60 miles from the facility</li><li>No blocked scheduling allowed</li><li>A 13-week break is required for returning travelers after contract completion</li><li>Requested time off must be submitted at time of consideration; missed time will not be added to the end of the contract</li><li>KRONOS is used for timekeeping</li></ul>
