<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs</li><li>Hours: 36 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Oct 19, 2026</li><li>Length: 13 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift assignment requiring 2 years of recent MS/Tele experience and a CO or compact RN license.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Med/Surg Tele unit assignment</li><li>Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 18:00-6:30)</li><li>Patient ratio of 1:6</li><li>Call requirement of 2 shifts per month, which may fall on days or nights depending on unit needs</li><li>Uses Pyxis medication system and Amrita documentation system</li><li>Any scrub color accepted</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Active RN license (CO or compact) currently in hand</li><li>Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS</li><li>Minimum 2 years of recent MS/Tele, Cardiac Tele, or Tele experience required</li><li>Skills in IV therapy/phlebotomy, central and peripheral line care, PICC line management, and blood product administration</li><li>Experience with cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and telemetry unit monitoring</li><li>Experience with respiratory care including HFNC, ABG interpretation, oxygen administration, and tracheostomy care</li><li>Experience with heparin protocols and titrating cardiac drips</li><li>Experience with IV insulin protocols and insulin drip titration</li><li>Experience with wound care/wound vac and isolation precautions/PPE</li><li>Any charting system experience accepted</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Provide care to Med/Surg and telemetry patients, including cardiac, CVA, and neurological/psychiatric cases</li><li>RTO requests require manager approval</li><li>First-time travelers are welcome to apply</li></ul>
