<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Days, 4x10hrs</li><li>Hours: 40 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Sep 21, 2026</li><li>Length: 13 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 2+ years of cardiac cath lab experience and required ARRT R and Fluoro Permit certifications for a community hospital in Laguna Hills, CA.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Community hospital setting performing both interventional cardiology and interventional radiology procedures</li><li>Adult and geriatric patient population with 1:1 patient ratios</li><li>4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM</li><li>On call required one day per week and every third weekend in rotation</li><li>Candidates may float within the hospital based on census</li><li>Wide range of cardiac cath lab procedures including diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, PCI, PTCA, TAVR, Watchman, Impella, IABP, and pacemaker insertion</li><li>Performs interventional radiology procedures including angioplasty, embolization, stent placements, IVC filter placement/removal, and nephrostomy</li><li>Utilizes fluoroscopy and Siemens imaging equipment</li><li>Responsible for equipment set up, maintenance, and supply stocking</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Minimum 2 years of experience in a cardiac cath lab environment required</li><li>Current ACLS, BLS, ARRT R, CRT, and Fluoro Permit required</li><li>RCIS certification preferred</li><li>License required if applicable</li><li>Community hospital experience required</li><li>Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures required</li><li>Proficiency in scrub procedures, sterile technique, and PACS system required</li><li>Skilled in EKG lead placement, access site prep, and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias</li><li>Must be able to work with adult and geriatric patient populations</li><li>1 professional reference required within the past 2 years</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Responsibilities include scrubbing procedures, maintaining sterile fields, and monitoring patients during cardiac and interventional radiology cases</li><li>Performs equipment set up and maintenance, and stocks supplies as needed</li><li>Adheres to isolation precautions, PPE protocols, and infection control standards</li><li>First-time travelers will not be considered for this role</li><li>Previous perm staff at this facility are not eligible for consideration</li><li>Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate</li><li>RTO must be submitted at time of consideration and cannot be added afterward</li></ul>
