CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:
• Work Saturday 3:30 PM - 11:30 PM and Sunday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM 
• Minimum 2 years of experience required 
• Must hold NYS Radiologic Technologist license 
• Advanced certification as a CT technologist required 
• Current ARRT certification required 
• BLS certification required 
• Must be certified by NYS for contrast injections 
• CT competency test required 
• Use computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-section images of patients' internal organs and tissues 
• Accurately interpret physician's scanning instructions 
• Administer contrast materials as needed 
• Prepare and operate CT scan equipment 
• Position patients to capture appropriate images 
• Follow proper radiation safety procedures for both technologist and patient safety 
• Must be able to maneuver equipment and assist disabled patients 
• High school graduate with completion of A.M.A approved school for radiologic technology and advanced training in CT required
