To say this facility is understaffed is an understatement. Management is not often seen and when they are, it’s in quick passing as to not hear or see issues. The staff they have are amazing!

St. David’s South Austin Medical Center, which is part of St. David’s HealthCare, is a 368-bed acute care facility offering a range of complex specialties and sub-specialties, including a nationally accredited oncology program with the area’s only adult Transplant and Cellular Therapy Program; a trauma program that includes a Level II trauma center, with a dedicated Shock Trauma Intensive Care Unit, to treat the most severely injured and critical patients; comprehensive cardiac, stroke and orthopedic programs; full-service maternity and newborn care; robotic services; and two full-service emergency centers in the communities of Bee Cave and Bastrop.

    <li><strong>Location:</strong> South Austin, TX</li>
    <li><strong>Number of Beds:</strong> 30</li>
    <li><strong>Staffing:</strong> 60 total staff members</li>
    <li><strong>Patient Ratios:</strong> 1:5</li>
    <li><strong>Standard Equipment:</strong> Welch Allyn Vital signs, COWs, Hoyer lift, PCA pumps, CareView Virtual Sitter, Telepsych, Teleneuro</li>
    <li><strong>Electronic Medical Record (EMR):</strong> Meditech</li>
</ul>

<h2>Shift Details</h2>
<ul>
    <li><strong>Shift Length:</strong> 12 hours</li>
    <li><strong>Weekend Requirements:</strong> 4 shifts per schedule</li>
