I had positive experiences at every Dignity facility worked. Staff Nurses are helpful and fun to work with. Managers were available and supportive. MDs are responsive and truly care about patients. I know some locations are not great (heard from other travelers), but I loved my assignments in Sacramento CA, Folsom CA, Carmichael CA, Woodland CA, Redwood City CA, Long Beach CA, and Las Vegas NV.

            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Home health setting with a post-acute care focus</li><li>Patient population includes orthopedic/joint replacement and geriatric patients with multiple comorbidities such as CHF and COPD</li><li>Average caseload is 5 home visits per day</li><li>PT staff perform start-of-care visits, especially with orthopedic patients when nursing is not ordered</li><li>Uses Cerner charting system and Netsmart EMR; a laptop will be provided for EMR documentation</li><li>Work schedule consists of 8-hour day shifts with occasional Saturdays for orthopedic patients</li><li>No call or holiday shifts required</li><li>Team includes an intake RN, manager, and nurse aides</li><li>Main responsibilities include managing a caseload of home health patients and performing both routine and start-of-care visits</li><li>Average daily census is 78 and is expected to increase with more therapy staff</li><li>Scrub color is not specified</li><li>Holiday coverage is not required</li><li>No ventilator or call responsibilities</li><li>Returning clinicians cannot have been employed by the related health system within the past year</li><li>Orientation consists of 12 hours and is floor-specific</li><li>Candidates living within specific mile radii in certain states may have location requirements for eligibility</li></ul>
