      <p>American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position in California requiring a minimum of two years' recent L&amp;D experience and current CA RN license.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Position is in an acute care hospital Labor &amp; Delivery unit</li><li>Supports laboring patients including circulating responsibilities in a large hospital setting</li><li>Must be able to circulate for C-sections and L&amp;D cases</li><li>Works 3x12 hour shifts, mostly days (07:00–19:30) and nights (19:00–07:30), with weekends potentially exceeding every other week</li><li>May be required to float between all facilities within the state as needed</li><li>Uses Epic EMR; Epic experience required</li><li>Scrubs are navy blue for RNs; L&amp;D/OR scrubs are provided</li><li>All travelers are expected to float to any facility within the state as needed</li><li>Travel pairs are not accepted for this assignment</li><li>Local candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius to be eligible for the travel rate</li><li>Requested time off must be submitted at the time of application; excessive RTO may hinder selection</li><li>Free parking is available onsite</li></ul>

      <ul><li>Active California RN license required</li><li>Minimum 2 years of recent Labor &amp; Delivery RN experience is required</li><li>BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required</li><li>AWHONN Intermediate required; AWHONN Advanced preferred</li><li>Must have recent circulating experience in L&amp;D</li><li>Experience in large hospital settings highly preferred</li><li>SSN and DOB required for consideration</li><li>Must provide at least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last three years in Labor &amp; Delivery or a comparable specialty</li><li>Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler</li><li>No first-time travelers considered for this position</li><li>Pending licensure is not accepted</li></ul>

            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Work in an acute care hospital infusion unit</li><li>Primary responsibilities include 70% oncology-based therapy and 30% blood transfusion, IVIG, hydration, and iron infusions</li><li>Typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4</li><li>Day shifts are 4x10 hours, Monday to Friday, with Wednesdays off</li><li>No weekend or on-call requirements</li><li>Floating required between like units and other facilities within the state</li><li>Uses the Epic EMR system; experience preferred</li><li>Provide infusion therapies and chemotherapy to oncology patients</li><li>Must wear royal blue scrubs</li><li>Free parking is provided for staff</li><li>Magnet-designated hospital environment</li><li>Returning former staff must wait at least 3 months before reapplying as travelers and cannot live within 50 miles of the facility</li><li>All requested time off must be submitted at time of application; additional requests post-offer may be denied</li></ul>
