<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Days, 4x10hrs</li><li>Hours: 40 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Apr 21, 2026</li><li>Length: 13 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab RN for an acute care hospital setting in California, requiring a minimum of 1.5 years of Cath Lab experience, an active CA RN license, and on-call availability.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Position is in the Cath Lab unit of a 320-bed acute care hospital</li><li>Schedule is days, 4x10-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)</li><li>On-call is required: 2 nights per week plus 1 weekend every 2 weeks (7 days per pay period)</li><li>Weekends required every other weekend, but may exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs</li><li>Floating between facilities within the state is required</li><li>Charting is done in Meditech; Epic experience is also required</li><li>Free parking is available on-site</li><li>13-week contract</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Active CA RN license required (pending licensure is not accepted)</li><li>Current BLS and ACLS certifications required</li><li>Minimum 1.5 years of Cath Lab RN experience required; 2 years strongly preferred</li><li>Epic EMR experience required</li><li>At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration</li><li>SSN and DOB required for consideration</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>First-time travelers will not be considered for this position</li><li>Royal Blue scrubs required for RNs</li><li>All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of initial consideration; post-offer RTO requests may be denied</li><li>Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be accommodated</li><li>Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility</li><li>Refusal to float between facilities may result in assignment termination</li></ul>
