Biggest complaint would be the Thursday through Wednesday work week. Seems like a way to give 4 12 hour shifts in one week without paying OT. Had several weeks with 4 12s in a row. However I also had a few weeks with only 2 12 hour shifts, so I didn’t complain too much. Overall I enjoyed the contract and would go back.

It's a small rural hospital. They have 6 OR's. The surgeons are all nice and they do relatively easy cases. Lots of ENT, gyn, and robots, and TONS of eyed! When I was there  the department was mostly all travelers. I did find that the staff was not always the most friendly to travelers. The charge nurse was one of the worst There's a lot of animosity on their part, towards the travelers.
But for the right money, I'd go back.. 
I like the area. There's lots of great parks and outdoor activities. I was there in the summer, I don't recommend going in the winter unless you love snow and cold..

<p>We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Respiratory Therapist to provide exceptional care within a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will be committed to improving patient outcomes while demonstrating expertise in respiratory care practices.</p>

<h2>Key Responsibilities</h2>
<ul>
    <li>Establish patient ventilator settings using advanced principles of volume, flow, pressure, and time relationships.</li>
    <li>Assess patients’ needs and deliver appropriate care in accordance with established protocols.</li>
    <li>Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans based on their condition and response to therapy.</li>
    <li>Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) system Meditech for accurate documentation and communication.</li>
    <li>Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding respiratory conditions and treatments.</li>
</ul>

<h2>Qualifications</h2>
<ul>
    <li>Graduation from an AMA accredited school for Respiratory Care.</li>
    <li>Current New York State license.</li>
    <li>Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentialing from the National Board for Respiratory Care.</li>
    <li>Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification are required; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are preferred.</li>
    <li>Strong knowledge of acid/base and electrolyte relationships and the implications of life-threatening situations.</li>
</ul>
