      <h2>Job Description</h2>
      <p>American Traveler is seeking an experienced Critical Care Float RN with at least two years’ experience, required certifications, and previous travel nursing background.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Position covers the Critical Care Float Pool in an acute care hospital setting</li><li>Floating required between main campus and a sister facility 15 minutes away, working Med/Surg only</li><li>Patient ratio is 1:2</li><li>Shift is night, 3x12 hours from 18:00 to 06:00</li><li>Every other weekend required</li><li>No on-call responsibilities</li><li>Use of MediTech Expanse charting system</li><li>Specialized procedures include para/thoracentesis, intubation, central line and art line placement, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, and care for ventilated patients</li><li>Must be comfortable floating between two facilities within 15 minutes of each other</li><li>Member of rapid response team in collaboration with multiple departments</li><li>Flu shot required if working during flu season (October 1 - March 31)</li><li>Employee’s choice of scrub color</li><li>Free parking available in any unrestricted space</li><li>Time off requests limited to one, must be finalized at submission, with no RTO allowed in first two weeks, maximum of 10 days and no full calendar weeks</li></ul>
          
      <h2>Requirements</h2>
      <ul><li>Active CO or compact RN license (pending licenses accepted)</li><li>Minimum 2 years of relevant RN experience required</li><li>Previous traveler experience required; first-time travelers are not accepted</li><li>Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and PALS</li><li>NIHSS and TNCC certifications preferred</li><li>Experience with MediTech Expanse EMR preferred</li></ul>
