<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Variable, 3x12hrs</li><li>Hours: 36 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Oct 19, 2026</li><li>Length: 13 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is hiring an ER RN for a general combined adult/pediatric emergency department, requiring 2+ years of Level III trauma experience and a CO or compact RN license.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>General Emergency Department treating combined adult and pediatric patients</li><li>13-week assignment with evening and night shifts (3x12s)</li><li>Evening shift 13:00-23:00 and night shift 17:30-06:00</li><li>Meditech charting system preferred</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Active CO state or Compact RN license required</li><li>Minimum 2 years of ER experience with Level III trauma required</li><li>Level I and II trauma experience also accepted</li><li>Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC</li><li>NIHSS certification preferred</li><li>Experience with pediatrics, abdominal pain, asthma, and mental/behavioral health conditions</li><li>Experience managing psychiatric holds, acute psychosis, and suicidal patients preferred</li><li>Skilled in IV therapy, phlebotomy, and blood product administration</li><li>Experience administering emergency medications and IV vasopressors</li><li>Experience with procedural sedation administration/monitoring preferred</li><li>Skilled in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and 12-lead EKG/ECG acquisition</li><li>Experience managing and applying splints and ortho trauma preferred</li><li>Triage experience preferred</li><li>Two supervisor references completed within the past 18 months required</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Provide emergency care across a combined adult and pediatric patient population</li><li>Handle triage, cardiac monitoring, and emergency response duties</li><li>First-time travelers are welcome to apply</li><li>Maximum of 10 total RTO days permitted, with no RTO allowed during the first 2 weeks of the assignment</li><li>Full calendar weeks of RTO are not accepted</li></ul>
