I enjoyed working with the RTs that I met. Both from travelers to staff. They made working there worth it! If I was done with traveling I could probably see myself staying. The state was beautiful. The whole experience was great. Like every facility you will find pros and cons just depends how you let the cons affect you.

Great place for my first travel contract position.

Usually it’s hard for me to not like a place I’m working at, but this place this something else. I worked on the behavioral unit and I can only describe that place as the wild, Wild West. I have never felt that my license was in jeopardy except here. Very unsafe environment, children are really high acuity and the programming is least restrictive. Does not call for a healthy environment. Harder assignments will more than likely go to travel nurses. Ancillary staff will attempt to step out of their scope in regard to the care of the patients.

Without sharing details, I can say the culture , and safety practices were something I've never experienced in my life. Unfortunately , EVERY traveler that I had the pleasure to work alongside, to include CNA's, expressed similar experiences.
